providien is mark van fleet (sword heaven) and nathan reynolds (american jobs) and this is the debut vinyl release for amethyst sunset. a half hour of noisy end of the world transmissions. "disembodied horror atmospherics to no-fi sludge death marches to pure weirdo home-taper acoustic guitar meltdowns, each new zone more unsettling and brainwashed than the last.”
the record will be released february 2011 and limited to 200 copies. all black vinyl with paste on color cardstock covers.

Despite being recorded three years prior to Meet the Beatles, Tudor’s take on John Cage’s Variations II has more in common with early Merzbow or recent Kevin Drumm than with anything from its decade of origin. A half century ahead of its time, this one RIPS.

It will be followed with a mellower take on experimental piano, John Tilbury’s Barcelona Piano Solo. Tilbury presents his trademark piano style from AMM in a solo context. Engaging, experimental and beautiful, Barcelona this one is an excellent Yin to Tudor’s Yang.
