imaginary softwoods - "the path of spectrolite" is temporarily sold out from amethyst sunset.
hny - "here you can touch the sky" is now available from amethyst sunset! the clear with oranage splatter version is sold out, but the translucent orange version is still available for $13.00 + shipping.
in the coming months, sean mccann's "sincere world" and the 1958-2009 lp will finally see a release.
everything is off at the plant and we are just awaiting another round of test presses.
later this year amethyst sunset will release some noise seven inches.

providien is mark van fleet (sword heaven) and nathan reynolds (american jobs) and this is the debut vinyl release for amethyst sunset. a half hour of noisy end of the world transmissions. "disembodied horror atmospherics to no-fi sludge death marches to pure weirdo home-taper acoustic guitar meltdowns, each new zone more unsettling and brainwashed than the last."
the record will be released february 2011 and limited to 200 copies. all black vinyl with paste on color cardstock covers.

the "glowing net" 12" by MIST is now available in the distrubution section.
much welcome vinyl issue of the 2010 cassette release from john elliott (outer space, colored mushy, emeralds) and sam goldberg (radio people, docile dawn, pizza night) that sold out at the source and distros rather quickly. further exploring the zones on the previously released "mist" lp, the duo take it one step further with their electronics unleashing a record which sounds like it could be the soundtrack to an amazing 70's / 80's sci fi movie. the tracks have been remastered for vinyl by james plotkin. vinyl is in an edition of 750 copies. 500 copies on black vinyl and 250 rainbow splatter vinyl. all mailorder copies from amethyst sunset ship on black vinyl. rainbow vinyl is sold out direct from the label.

november will see the release of the vinyl issue of "glowing net" by mist. the duo of john elliott and sam goldberg originally released the cassette in a very low edition earlier this year and it will now soon see a wonderfully pressed larger edition on vinyl. total edition size is 750 copies in glossy pro printed jackets. 500 on black and 250 on clear with rainbow splatter.
not too far behind will be the release of sean mccann's second full length vinyl lp "sincere world", which will be the icing on the cake that is the stellar year of releases sean has had.
